The Journey

After leading a software firm from 1997 to 2012, I took a multi-year hiatus to circumnavigate the globe by sail. Crossing the Atlantic and Pacific alone requires a level of preparation and problem-solving that I bring to every codebase I touch.

I returned to full-time development in 2018, most recently working with the team at Balena before moving into the AI and Rust space.
